A "Pre-Arrangement" allows you to plan your service before it is actually needed.  This  saves those you love from the decision-making process after your death as well as ensures the service is conducted as per your wishes.

For the same reasons you write a will, make retirement plans, or buy life insurance, it is a good idea to plan for the future and make funeral plans. Having served many area families, we realize how difficult it can be after the loss of a loved one, it is an emotional and stressful time and it is hard to think clearly.  prearranging a funeral service  allows you to make unhurried, informed decisions without the stress.   This thoughtful preparation gives peace of mind and can relieve the financial burden on family members.

After expressing your situation and wishes with us, we can create a plan that most meets your  needs.

The benefits to prearranging:

  • Make wiser, more informed choices at a less emotional time.
  • Lock-in your price and guard against inflation.
  • Give yourself and your family peace of mind.
  • Ensure your wishes are known.
  • 3 Simple Steps to Prearranging:
  • planning and funding your funeral may be one of the most considerate and caring things you can do for your family.

    • Step 1 - Information
Put down all your biographical information about your life, career and your family. All the facts you'll want everyone to know and remember. Write down all the personal information that you will want known;  things like hobbies, special interests, career information, etc.
    • Step 2 - Arrangements
You will meet with a funeral director and make decisions about your funeral or memorial service, what type of casket or urn, vault, the services you want, and other details. We will explain all your options, outline the costs, and make recommendations, if you like.
    • Step 3 - Funding The Funeral
Brown’s Funeral Service offers pre-funding through Homesteaders Life or National Prearranged Services, which allows you to alleviate the financial burden on your family. Berlynda Barnes, our pre-need specialist, as well as Eddie or Marvin will work with you to set up a pre-funded plan to fit your budget. With a pre-funded funeral plan through Brown’s Funeral Service, you can LOCK-IN the costs of your funeral today.
