NAME: Vernon Allen Billings Sr. age 66, a longtime Atoka area resident

BORN: He was born on February 19, 1944, to Daniel and Fern Billings, in Roswell, New Mexico.

PASSED AWAY: Vernon passed away on March 7, 2010, at Lane, Oklahoma.

AGE 66 YEARS AND 16 DAYS

EDUCATION: He attended high school in Alamgordo, N.M. and one year at Murray State College.

MARRIED: Vernon married Francis Sawyer in 1969.

OCCUPATION: He worked for Ethan Allen Furniture at Atoka, Ok.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES, AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: He loved muscle cars, hunting, fishing, and his vegetable garden.

Dale Ray Billings and wife Veronica of Glenpool, Ok.
Suzanna Fortenberry and husband Marvin of Lane, Ok.

BROTHERS: Glen Billings of Lane, Ok.
Joe Billings of Lane, Ok.
SISTER: Clara Leuty and husband Roger of Harmony, Ok.
GRANDCHILDREN: 6 grandchildren
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
