Abraham Lincoln Stiles, age 92, a lifelong Coalgate and Atoka County, OK resident, was born on Sunday, September 12, 1926, to Isaac and Nancy Jane (Edwards) Stiles, at Coalgate, OK. Lincoln passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at his home Atoka, OK. He attended Coalgate School. Lincoln was a carpenter, he worked in Beaumont, TX building apartments and also worked in the oilfield. He married Marwillie (Gravett) on Saturday, January 13th, 1945 at Lane, OK. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2013. Lincoln was of the baptist faith. He loved to build and do carpentry work, to hunt, raise cattle and gardening.
Lincoln is survived by his children, Prescilla Marley of Stringtown, OK, Lou Garrett of Harmony, OK, Jerry Stiles and wife Arlene of Harmony, OK; daughters in law, Janice Stiles of Harmony, OK, Brenda Stiles Butterfield and husband Jack of Harmony, OK; sister in law, Chala Gravett of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Jackie Stambaugh and husband Dennis of Washington State, Donna Burleson of Stringtown, OK, Terry Baker of Lane, OK, Amber Justus and husband B.J. of Tushka, OK, Erik Stiles of Harmony, OK, Tara Stiles of Harmony, OK, Tony Stiles of Lane, OK, Miranda Jackson and husband Sterling of Durant, OK, Stephen Stiles of Harmony, OK, Jennifer Fritcher and husband Derek of Harmony, OK, Brandon Stiles and wife Samantha, of Atoka, OK; 21 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear and loved friends.
Lincoln is preceded in death by his wife, Marwillie Stiles; parents, Isaac and Nancy Jane (Edwards) Stiles; granddaughter, Mary Hunter; sons, Eugene Stiles, Michael Stiles; son in law, Lewis Garrett, Jack Marley; brothers, Jessie, Andy "Blue", Clabourn, Clinton "Skinner"; sisters, Dollie Wilson, Carrie Woods, Ollie Wilson.
