February 17, 1948 – April 11, 2019
Arley Dean A. D. Moore, age 71, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, February 17, 1948, to Frank and Della Mae (Bruner) Moore, at Bryan County, OK.
A.D. passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home in Atoka, OK. He attended Butler Grade School, Lane School and graduated from Atoka High School in 1966.
When A.D. came out of the Army, he was employed by Paul Mullens for several years before going to work for Mechanical Services as a plumber and pipefitter where he retired after 20 years. A.D. proudly served his country in The Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 thru 1969 as an E-5. He married Wayburn Thomas in 1966 and later married Sharon Webb. A.D. enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A.D. is survived by his sisters, Collen Mauch and husband Joe of Tulelake, CA, Carol Williams of Coweta, OK; brothers, Noel Moore and wife Delores of Modesto, CA, Lester Moore and wife Kathy of Atoka, OK, Rick Moore of Colorado; nephews, John Farrell and wife Tamara of Tuttle, OK, Steve Moore and wife Brooke of Atoka, OK; nieces, Brenna Harris and husband John of Edmond, OK, Tara Megee and husband Dirk of Coweta, OK, Shelley Beck and husband Vince of Lane, OK, Brooke Wiggins and husband Kevin of Blue Ridge, TX; step sons, Todd Webb and Shawn Webb; along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
A.D. is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Della Mae (Bruner) Moore; sister, Lula Burns and husband Robert; brother, Leon Moore; brothers in law, Roy Williams, J.T. Johnson; step son, Robert Webb.
