Ada Lee Grant, age 73, a longtime Caney, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, October 29, 1947, to Julius Daniel and Elneeda Doris (Clemmons) Mitchell, at Bladen County, NC.
Ada passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Durant, OK. She graduated from Clarkton North Carolina High School. Ada was a housewife and homemaker. She married Harlan Lee Grant on Tuesday, June 16th, 1992 at Hutchison, KS. They enjoyed 27 years of marriage before his passing on July 12, 2019. Ada was a Christian. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, fishing, coloring by number, painting and loved her dogs Rachel and Lil Bit.
Ada is survived by her siblings, Jimmie Mitchell and wife Doris of Granbury, TX, David Mitchell of Bladenboro, NC, Roger Mitchell and wife Diane of Southern Pine, NC, Barbara Seiber, Betty Mitchell of Chadbourn, NC, Donna Hall of Elizabethton, NC, Tony Mitchell of Southern Pine, NC; her adored pets, Rachel, Lil Bit; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Daniel and Elneeda Doris (Clemmons) Mitchell; husband, Harlan Lee Grant.
