OBITUARY

NAME: Albert Joe Kendrix, age 87, an Atoka, OK resident, formerly a longtime resident of Antlers and Pushmataha County.

BORN: He was born on Saturday, October 18, 1930, to A.J. and Rosa Lee (March) Kendrix, at Soper, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Joe  passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Atoka, OK.

AGE:  87 years and 6 days.

EDUCATION: He attended school at Buckhorn.

OCCUPATION: Joe was a barber in Antlers for over 48 years before he retired.

MILITARY:  Joe proudly served his country in The Army during the Korean Conflict.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS:  Joe was of the baptist faith. He was a member of a country and western band, played both fiddle and guitar. He loved hunting, fishing and anything to do with animals.
