Alene K Arnold, age 89, a Weatherford, TX resident., formerly a longtime Atoka County resident. She was born on Tuesday, March 5, 1935, to John Wesley and Hazel (Brown) Daniel, at Olney, OK. Alene passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at her home in Weatherford, TX surrounded by her loved ones. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from OSU and also taught Home Economics. Alene went on to teach elementary education and home economics. She married Harvey Arnold on Saturday, June 6th, 1959. They celebrated 65 years of marriage before her passing. Alene was of the Methodist faith. She supported the Lions Club, Boys and Girls Club, Oklahoma Water Warriors and was a member of Oklahoma Retired Teachers. She was very civic minded. Alene loved to sew, garden, read and cook.
Alene is survived by her husband, Harvey Arnold of the home in Weatherford, TX; daughter, Leea Arnold and husband Dudley of Weatherford, TX; sister, Phyllis Smith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Alene was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hazel (Brown) Daniel; son, Stacey Arnold; brothers, Olene Daniel, JW Daniel; sister, Zelma Dean Breecheen.******************************************************************************
