Obituary

Obituary Alene Lowe, age 81, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on Saturday, July 11, 1931, to John Franklin and Maggie Bell (Rodgers) Faulkenberry, at Lane, OK. Alene passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Atoka, OK. She attended Midway School, Lane School, and Atoka High School. Alene was a retired business owner of "Alene's Gift and Ceramics Shop." She married Marvin Lowe on July 11, 1947 at Sherman, TX. Alene was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was a seamstress and enjoyed ceramics and cake decorating and also was the chaplain a the Elks Lodge for several years. Alene is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Lowe of Atoka, OK., Marleah Cochran and husband Darrell of Atoka, OK., Sherry Leaird and husband Allen of Coalgate, OK.; sister, Audrey Bradford of Ukiah, CA.; grandchildren, Stephanie Stephens of Atoka, OK., Brad Cochran of Caddo, OK., Tim Cochran and wife Sheila of McAlester, OK.; great grandchildren, Jerad Stephens of Atoka, OK., Jace Stephens of Atoka, OK., Parker Reese Cochran of McAlester, OK.; lifelong friend, Dot Hembree of Atoka, OK.; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Alene was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lowe; parents, John and Maggie Bell (Rodgers) Faulkenberry; granddaughters, Brandi Eller and Mande Moore; siblings, Syble Sanders, Jesse Faulkenberry, Cecil Faulkenberry, and Cleo Faulkenberry ****************************************************************************** DATE OF SERVICES: 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 PLACE OF SERVICES: Harmony Baptist Church, Harmony, Oklahoma OFFICIATING: Bro.
