Alice Joyce (Jackman) Adams, a Coalgate resident, was born on August 28, 1948, to William Haynes and Lena Elizabeth (Bradshaw) Jackman, at Enterprise, Oklahoma. She passed away on August 18, 2024, at her home in Coalgate surrounded by the ones she loved. Alice was 75 years, 11 months and 21 days old. She graduated from Wapanucka High School then attended Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree. Alice was a teacher for many years until her retirement. She married Bobby Eugene Adams on January 15, 1968. They were blessed with 30 years together before his passing on February 25, 1998. Alice was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and camping. Alice loved spending time with her family.
