BORN: He was born on Sunday, January 13, 1935, to William Edward and Veronica "Vera" (Carroll) Weeden, at Tupelo, OK. PASSED AWAY: Allen passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK. AGE: 79 years, 10 months and 9 days. EDUCATION: He graduated Tushka High School in 1953 and then attended SOSU in Durant. OCCUPATION: Allen worked in Oil Field Services, Landscaping, and was a Warehouseman. MARRIED: He married Melba Jo (White) on December 17th, 1955 at Atoka, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Allen relished his time with his family at home and at the farm, camping out, cooking out, fishing, hunting and watching the Oklahoma City Thunder. Allen especially loved the time spent with his only grandson, Jaden Weeden, catching grasshoppers, fishing riding the tractor, searching for "Only the best rocks" and then throwing them in the pond. Allen and his wife attended Saint Lukes United Methodist Church and enjoyed time spent reading and talking about the scriptures of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed working on old cars, tractors, and riding lawn mowers. SURVIVED BY WIFE: Melba Jo Weeden of the home in Oklahoma City, OK. SON: Eddie Weeden of Oklahoma City, OK GRANDSON: Jaden Weeden of Oklahoma City, OK along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
