OBITUARY NAME: Alma Virginia "Virgie" Hall, age 89, a longtime Farris, OK area resident. BORN: She was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1925, to Jim and Mattie (Smith) Arnold, at Farris, OK, Virgie was the youngest of 5 and the last living child. PASSED AWAY: Virgie passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Farris, OK. AGE: 89 years, 2 months and 26 days. EDUCATION: She attended Lone Pine Grade and graduated from Atoka High School in 1943. OCCUPATION: Virgie was a teacher who taught school at DOK School during WWII. She co-owned Jesse Hall Trucking Co., she was also a homemaker and housewife. MARRIED: She married Jesse C. Hall on October 18, 1944 at Antlers, OK. He preceded her in death in 1995. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Virgie was a member of Centerpoint Freewill Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and often accompanied her husband Jesse on the truck delivering post, lumber and newspaper. SURVIVED BY SON: Weldon Hall and wife Carilin of Sobol, OK GRANDDAUGHTERS: Crystal Gossett of Dallas, TX Jessica Smith of Farris, OK 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Phillip Gossett, Hagen Gossett, Trenton Carringer, Garrett Smith 7 STEP GRANDCHILDREN, and numerous step great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
