Amanda Faye (Gamel) MacArthur, a Quapaw resident, was born on August 28, 1979, to Billy Ray and Sarah Elizabeth (Casey) Gamel, at Ada, OK. She passed away on April 19, 2023 at Tulsa, OK, at the age of 43 years, 7 months and 22 days. Amanda graduated from Coalgate High School in the Class of '97. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education at East Central University. She was a Computer Science Teacher at Quapaw High School. Amanda married Robert J. Milam MacArthur on September 17, 2021, at Quapaw, Oklahoma. She enjoyed reading, hiking, camping, fishing and shopping. Amanda loved the outdoors.
