OBITUARY NAME: Amos Carland "Ace" Spillman, age 90, an Atoka, OK area resident for the past 30 years. BORN: He was born on Tuesday, June 10, 1924, to Ernest and Lillian (Smith) Spillman, at Perry, OK. PASSED AWAY: Amos passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Norman, OK. AGE: 90 years, 3 months and 10 days. EDUCATION: He attended Noble County schools around the Perry area. OCCUPATION: Amos was a lineman and cable splicer for Southwestern Bell, he had 37 years of perfect attendance. He retired as PBX Installer. MILITARY: Amos proudly served his country in The U.S. Navy during WWII. MARRIED: He married Christine (Mobbs) on September 13, 1952 at Lawton, OK., they were happily married for 62 years. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Amos was a member of Tushka Baptist Church. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, going to Blue Grass Festivals, listening to country music, visiting with his family (kids and grandkids) and friends; loved being outdoors and working with his tractor and cattle, SURVIVED BY WIFE: Christine (Mobbs) Spillman of the home in Atoka, OK. SON: Michael Spillman of Oklahoma City, OK DAUGHTER: Angela Wilson and husband Dale of Newalla, OK SISTERS: Donna Brengle of Greeley, CO Dorlene Cook and husband Paul of Ponca City, OK GRANDCHILDREN: Melissa Breding and husband Ryan of Oklahoma City, OK Sara Hale and husband Brent of Choctaw, OK Joel Spillman of Oklahoma City, OK Katie Spillman of Oklahoma City, OK GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Jerrod, Mason, Brayden and Teegan Hale Abigail Breding, Jackson Yateman, Christopher Moody, Sophie Spillman, Joseph "J.T."
