Angelia Machelle Burleson, age 55, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Friday, December 11, 1964, to Tommy and Glenda Carol (Eaves) Richardson, at Oklahoma City, OK. Angie passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Denison, TX. She attended Bentley Elementary school and graduated from Tushka High School. Angie also attended KTC where she received and became a licensed LPN. Angie was a Nurse. She married Jimmy Burleson on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at Atoka. Angie was a member of Full Gospel Church, loved to cook for everyone, especially cakes. She spoiled all of her grandchildren, at grandma's house everyone was number one. Angie loved her nursing job, spending time with her family and her dogs Prissy and Toby. Angie is survived by her children, Mindy Gerard of Madill, OK, Mandy Gerard and wife Anna of Madill, OK, Brandon Gerard of Atoka, OK; stepchildren, Bridgett Richardson and husband Billy of Henryetta, OK, Mikey Sparks of McAlester, OK, Shayla Hill of Stringtown, OK; grandchildren, Autumn and Kolby Timms of Madill, OK, Gage, Kay'lynn and mother Brandie of Rattan, OK, Shimmer and Stihl Gerard of Atoka, OK, Braden and Aubree Sparks of Henryetta, OK, Brooklyn, Sariah and Jerry Sparks of McAlester, OK; Unique, Zack, Dalton and Kara of Stringtown, OK; husband, Jimmy Burleson of Atoka, OK; father of her children, Larry Gerard of Heber Springs, AR; parents, Tommy and Glenda Carol (Eaves) Richardson; sisters, Sarah Davis and husband David of Durant, OK, Keisha Moreland and husband Patrick of Drasco, AR; brother, Tommy Richardson Jr and wife Tabitha of Atoka, OK; sister-in-law, Debra Lindsey of Purcell, OK; best friends; Mary Frazier of Atoka, OK, Debbie Spinhirne and husband Tim of Vega, TX, Bobbie Jo Glover and husband Ray of Poteau, OK; along with numerous adopted children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many other dear and loved friends. Angelia was preceded in death by her special friend, Paula Deaton; maternal grandparents, Leroy and Lorene Eaves; paternal grandparents, James T. and Georgia Richardson; aunt, Della Eaves; uncles, Ray Richardson and Buster Delay; special cousin, Gary Richardson.
