Angila Gene (Nix) Lenard, age 31, a Lawton, OK resident for the past 10 years, formerly raised in the McAlester area, was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1987, to Robert Milford and Tina Delein (Betsey) Nix, at Ada, OK. Angila passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in an auto accident at Altus, OK.
She attended McAlester School and graduated from Lawton High School in 2005. Angila was a production and shipping worker at the Goodyear Tire Co. in Lawton for the past 7 years. She married Jason Lenard. Angila was of the baptist faith. She enjoyed playing volley ball, softball, attending her kids sports and school activities and loved being a mother.
Angila is survived by her husband, Jason Lenard of the home in Lawton, OK; children, Timberlan Angelena Nix of Lawton, OK, MarViona Adams of Lawton, OK, Lyric Lenard of Lawton, OK; mother, Tina Betsey of Seneca, MO; father, Robert Nix of Sherman, TX; father of 2 of her children, Marvin Adams of Lawton, OK; sisters, Kelly McCoy and fiancé Sylvester Boyce of Como, MS, Jennifer Betsey of Atoka, OK; brothers, Dillon Betsey and fiancé Shelby Mitchell of Rogers, AR, Tyler Moore of Seneca, MO; grandma, Gladys Barcus of McAlester, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Angila is preceded in death by her grandparents, Adam and Annie Betsey; nephew, Seminole Neito; cousin, Joey Baker.
