April Talean Mosley

April Talean Mosley, age 45, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Tuesday, June 16, 1981, to Emmanuel Ray and Roberta Ann (Peters) Williams, at Ada, OK. April passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Coalgate, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School then attended East Central University. April was a housewife and a stay at home mom. She enjoyed going to the casino, crafting, drawing, sewing, playing pool and horseshoes and going on walks. April loved and cherished being a stay at home mom with her kids, watching them grow and watching Zach play football. She played tennis in high school and was an All State, she also was an Atoka High School Cheerleader and played soccer. She enjoyed being a grandma for her two grandbabies and was overjoyed to have a grandson on the way.

April is survived by her significant other, Jeremy Jim of the home in Atoka, OK; mother, Roberta Williams of Atoka, OK; children, Abby LaVarnway and husband Josiah of Stuart, OK, Zachary Jim of Atoka, OK, Amaya Jim of Atoka, OK, Elijah Jim of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Izabella LaVarnway of Stuart, OK, Melina LaVarnway of Stuart, OK, Levi LaVarnway of Stuart, OK; siblings, Leroy Mitchell Jr. of Atoka, OK, Kristina Williams of Atoka, OK, Ashley Maxey and husband Roy of Harmony, OK, Kayla Mitchell of McAlester, OK, Jacqueline Taylor of McAlester, OK; stepdad, Leroy Mitchell Sr. of Lane, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

April was preceded in death by her father, Emmanuel Ray Williams; son, Titus Jim; maternal grandmother, Alice Ann (Betsey) Ward; step maternal grandfather, Leroy Ward.
