Audrey Virginia (Moore) Sanders, age 80, a life long Atoka county resident, was born on Tuesday, September 24, 1940, to Charlie Chester and Julia (Sewell) Moore, at Bentley, OK. Audrey passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Plano, TX. She attended Bentley Public School and later received her GED. Audrey owned and operated The Head Shed. She also worked at the Sander's Cafe in Atoka, raised dogs and was a breeder. She married Charles "Bud" Irvin Sanders Jr. on Tuesday, April 12th, 1955 at Durant, OK. Audrey was a member of the General Assembly and Church of The First Born. She loved her dogs, flowers and gardening. Audrey loved being a "Nanny" most of all. Audrey is survived by her children, Telena Sanders of Atoka, OK, Buddy Sanders and wife Annis of Atoka, OK, Deborah Doern and husband John of Kingston, OK, Cynthia Paula Jack and husband Kenny of Stringtown, OK, Cloye Don Sanders and wife Tammie of Lane, OK; grandchildren, Steven Don Murray of Atoka, OK, Stacey Lanette Webster and husband David of Bentley, OK, Johna Kay Smasal and husband David of Tulsa, OK, Audrey Michelle DeLay and husband Kevin of Tulsa, OK, Tara Marie Sanders of Atoka, OK, Charles Irvin Sanders IV of Atoka, OK, Charles Sammy Carroll and wife Lyndsay of Atoka, OK, Matthew Paul Jack of Naples, FL, Audrey Marie Morris and husband Lucas of Atoka, OK, Cloye Don Sanders Jr. and wife Emily of Tushka, OK, Callie Mariea Kay Gambrell and husband Rodrick of Silo, OK; brother, Lacey Moore and wife Susie of Stringtown, OK; very special sister, Ester Henderson of Bentley, OK; along with numerous great grandchildren, great great grandson, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
