Dean passed away November 12, 2009 in Aspermont, TX. He was born September 22, 1928 in Brownsville, Oklahoma. He married Billie Jean Andrus June 4, 1947 in Portales, NM. Dean farmed in the Prairieview community from 1948 until 1980. He bought the Queen Ranch in Queen, NM in 1958. He bought the ranch on Hwy 457 in 1971 and made that their home. In 1990 he bought a place in Little City, OK and raised elk. They resided in the Lovington area for 62 years and had duel residence in Lovington and Little City, OK. Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Andrus Goff; Children: Daughter and son in law Jackie Lynn & Fred Richardson of McDonald, NM, son and daughter in law Perry Dean & Gail Goff of Caprock, NM, Daughter and son in law San & Bill Flowers of Aspermont, TX; Grandchildren: grandson and wife Tommy Dale & Kay Peveler of Lovington, NM, granddaughter Crystal Phillips of Lovington, NM, grandson Lonnie Dean & Lorissa Goff of Lovington, NM, granddaughter Angela & Russ Ward of Marblevale, AR, granddaughter and husband Sharree & Chris White of Roswell, NM, granddaughter Trisha Arnspiger of Lovington, NM, step grandson & wife Jeff & Lisa Flowers of Aspermont,TX, step grandson & wife Jay & Wendy Flowers of Matador, TX, 10 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 step great-great grandchild. Preceded in death by his parents Lonnie Goff and Anna "Annie" Goff Johnson, step dad Clarence Johnson, sister Ima Jean Johnson Starner, nephew Graham Conley, grandson in law Creston Arnspiger and great grandson Blaire Arnspiger.
