Barbara A Hurt, age 79, a Chickasha, OK resident. She was born on Wednesday, October 16, 1946, to Alvis and Dorothy (Orum) Fenley, at Chickasha, OK. Barbara passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Barbara attended Tushka High School and Oklahoma State University.  She married Charles J Hurt on Saturday, October 12th, 1963 at Stringtown, OK.

Barbara loved sewing and going to church. She enjoyed truck driving with her husband, playing on her computer and spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Doyle Hurt and wife Typhinia of Chickasha, OK; grandson, Timothy Hurt Jr. and wife Amanda of Yukon, OK; granddaughter, Randi Mae Taylor and husband Calvin of Latta, OK; 7 Great Grandchildren; sibling, Caroll Lewis of Huntsville, TX

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Dorothy (Orum) Fenley; husband, Charles Junior Hurt sons, Marcus Dale Hurt, and Charles Dwayne Hurt; brother, David Fenley.
