Obituary Barry Wayne Newsom, age 62, a Daisy, OK resident was born on Monday, July 10, 1950, to Frank and Evelyn Joyce (Satterfield) Newsom, at McAlester, OK. Barry passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Shawnee, OK. He graduated from Edison high school in Tulsa, OK. Barry was a carpenter. Barry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1977-1979. He married Melissa Ann (Clements) on March 14, 1998 at Daisy, OK. Barry enjoyed arrowhead hunting, working with his hands, and building things like small furniture and cabinets. Barry is survived by his wife, Melissa Ann Newsom of the home in Daisy, OK.; son, Corey Newmon of Daisy, OK.; mother, Evelyn Joyce Newsom-Korhuniak of Eufaula, OK., along with aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
