Barry Levi Roberts, age 63, a longtime Stringtown, OK resident  was born on Thursday, June 2, 1955, to Levi and Eura Bell (Lynn) Roberts, in California. Barry passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended Lane grade school, Atoka High School and graduated from Stringtown High School. Barry was a rancher. Barry proudly served in the National Guard in the 45th Infantry. He married Rita (Manion) in August of 1975, in Lane, OK.

Barry was an ordained preacher of the Baptist faith. He enjoying fishing, trot-lining, and woodworking. Barry was an avid hunter. When he left the house if he said he was getting a deer, he did, legal or not.  During his time in the National Guard, he became an expert marksmen. He received medals and was inducted into the 45th Hall of Fame for shooting a 106mm. Knowing this, many people came to him to sight in their guns.

Barry is survived by his wife, Rita Roberts of the home in Stringtown, OK; son, Levi Roberts of Stringtown, OK; granddaughter, Brooklyn Roberts of Stringtown, OK; sister, Tonvia McCutchin and husband Paul of Broken Arrow, OK; brothers, Dale Roberts and wife Rhonda of Decatur, IL, Frank Roberts and wife Jaylene of Lane, OK; sister, Shelly Callicoat and husband Brett of Atoka, OK; step father, William Hummingbird of Sand Springs, OK; special nephew, Brandon Roberts of Stringtown, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other cousins, and friends.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Eura Bell (Lynn) Roberts; step mother, Bettye Roberts and maternal grandparents, Milard and wife Lena Lynn.
