NAME: Becky Eileen (Scott) Powell, age 69, a longtime Coalgate resident.

BORN: She was born on July 03, 1947, to Ernest and Frances Leigh (Frey) Scott, at Norfolk, VA.

PASSED AWAY: Becky passed away on February 15, 2017 at Coalgate, OK.

AGE: 69 years, 7 months and 12 days.

EDUCATION: Becky attended & graduated from W.B. Ray H.S. in Corpus Christi, TX in 1965 and later attended Delmar College in Corpus Christi, TX

OCCUPATION: Becky worked for Coalgate Public Schools as secretary for 25 years retiring in 2005

MAARRIED: Becky married John Lee Powell on Jan. 13, 1968 in Corpus Christi, TX

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Becky was a member of the Coalgate United Methodist Church. She started the Operation Christmas because of her love of children. She loved playing cards with her Jokers are Wild Card Club. She enjoyed helping with the food bank at the church, CASA & anyone & everyone that needed anything. Her biggest love was her church, kids & grandchildren.
