Obituary

Bessie Mae (Winters) Bell, age 76, a lifetime Farris OK resident, was born on Sunday, December 21, 1941, to Gabe and Ruby (Davis) Winters, at Webster, OK. Bessie passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Denison, TX. She attended grade school at Crystal and Atoka High School.  Bessie was a housewife and homemaker. She married W.K. "Wink" Bell on Thursday, February 16th, 1963 at Paris, TX. They had 55 wonderful years together. Bessie was a member of the Assembly of God, Farris. She enjoyed woodwork, playing ten thousand, planting trees, and loved spending time with her family.
Bessie is survived by her husband, W.K. "Wink" Bell of the home in Antlers, OK; daughters, Karrie White and husband Jim of Lane, OK, Lavona Smithart and husband Vernon of Tushka, OK; grandson, Chance Bell and wife Waynette of Farris, OK; sisters, Albirta Winters of Booneville, AR, Dora Nowlin of Farris, OK, Eva Rector and husband Carey of Farris, OK, Linda Collins and husband Jim of Boggy Depot, OK, Geraldine Miller and husband Ken of McAlester, OK; brother, Gabe Haden Winters and wife Dorthy of Farris, OK; brother in law, Coy McCarty of Antlers, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Bessie is preceded in death by her parents, Gabe and Ruby (Davis) Winters; son, Little Wip Bell; sisters, Katie Winters, Vondell Winters, Kathryne Rector, Joann Winters.
