Bettie Loraine Starling, age 81, a resident of Atoka, OK for the past 20 years and previously from Portland, OR, was born on Monday, July 29, 1940, to Nora Lula Rogers, at Atoka, OK. Bettie passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Atoka, OK. She attended high school in Portland, OR. Bettie was a fine jewelry retail manager and worked in elder care. Bettie was of the Christian faith. She loved raising puppies, tending to her garden, crocheting and feeding the birds and butterflies. She especially loved spending time with her family. Bettie is survived by her daughter, Thea Walker and husband Jack of Caney, OK; son, Vaughn Scott Huskey and wife Laurie of West Linn, OR; grandchildren, Brannon Feb , Ryan Feb, Aaron Walker, Nate Walker, Chris Huskey, Mikey Huskey, Corinne Huskey, Hannah Huskey, Joshua Huskey; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Ethel Wood of Atoka, OK; uncle, Leroy Rogers of Atoka, OK; sister-in-law, Rosie Rankins of Canby, OR. Bettie was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Lula Rogers; brother, George Rankins
