Betty Jean Harrison, age 91, a longtime Antlers, OK resident. She was born on Tuesday, December 15, 1931, to Floyd Wesley and Edith Irene (Pond) Carnes, at Seminole, OK. Betty passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Antlers, OK. She attended school. Betty was a housewife and worked as a nurse's aide. She married Herman A. Harrison on Thursday, May 9th, 1991 at Clayton, OK. He preceded her in death. Betty was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of The Freewill Baptist Church in Little Rock, OK
Betty is survived by her daughters, Jimmie Taylor and husband James of Seminole, OK, Jessie Cooper of Gans, OK; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams of Holdenville, OK, LaDonna Kanard and husband Tommy of Seminole, OK, Lana K. Rattan and husband Ryan of Seminole, OK, Roy Dodson of McAlester, OK, Troy Dodson and wife Tammy of Shawnee, OK, Wesley Crunk, Stacy Pitman, John Crunk; daughter in law, Sue Crunk; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd  Wesley and Edith Irene Carnes; husband, Herman A. Harrison; children, James Crunk, Frank Crunk, Ginger Faye Vaughn, Betty I. Dodson; sister, Joyce Ann Carnes; son in law, Jim Cooper.
