Obituary Billy "Bill" Davis Granger, age 82, a lifelong Atoka County resident, was born on Tuesday, October 7, 1930, to William "Bill" and Lela (Hight) Granger, at Atoka, OK. Bill passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Sherman, TX. He graduated from Atoka High School. Bill worked all around the Atoka area as a lifelong carpenter and building contractor. He married Connie Ronald (Bunch) on November 19, 1992 at Coalgate, OK. Bill was a lifelong Christian, in his later years he was affiliated with the Coalgate Methodist Church. He served as an advisor for the Kiamichi Technology Center. Bill loved country music, playing guitar, fishing, and hunting. Bill is survived by his wife, Connie Ronald Granger of the home in Atoka, OK.; children, Becky Marksberry and husband Larry of Durant, OK., Willene Dunlap and husband Michael of Durant, OK.; step-children, Brenda Wood and husband Phillip of Coalgate, OK., Leslie Bellettini and husband Burney of Coalgate, OK., Tobie Hearrell and husband Obie of Bromide, OK., Brian Bunch of Coalgate, OK.; grandchildren, Christy Newton and husband Timmy of Durant, OK., Azure Yount and husband Bobby of Ardmore, OK., Amber Swartz of Durant, OK.; great grandchildren, Madison, Mckenna, Dylan,Riley and Tavyn; brother, James Granger and wife LaRue of Durant, OK., Arthur Granger and wife Louise of Atoka, OK.; 10 step grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many loved friends.
