Major Will "Bill" Roberson, age 80, an Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Tuesday, October 31, 1944, to Elmer Eddington and Ruth Delene (Sheffield) Roberson, at Wellington, TX. Bill passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Durant, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School with the class of 1963. Bill was the pastor at Full Gospel Church, a farmer and rancher, and was a truck driver for many years.  He married Effie Ruth McDaniel on July 14, 1963 in Atoka, OK and later married Chris Thomas on April 26, 1998 in Atoka, OK. He loved being a good steward of the land and cattle God had given him. Bill enjoyed studying his Bible, playing his bass at church and watching his westerns, most of all he loved his family and his church family.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Dana Morris and husband Randy of Atoka, OK; son, Chad Roberson of Atoka, OK; bonus children, Jason Thomas and wife Misty of Mineral Wells, TX, Trapper Thomas of Ada, OK, Shawna Dooney and husband Mike of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Eric Morris and wife Heather of Atoka, OK, Lucas Morris and wife Audrey of Atoka, OK, Courtney Roberson of Atoka, OK, Katelyn Graham and husband Dawson of Atoka, OK, Case Roberson and wife Maddie of Atoka, OK, Sydnee Thomas of Atoka, OK, Alex Dooney of McAlester, OK, Kylie Dooney of McAlester, OK, Jaden Dooney of McAlester, OK, Axel Epps of McAlester, OK; great grandchildren, Tucker Morris, Jax Slade, Addison Morris, Madilyn Morris, Molly Roberson, Rhodi Graham, Nash Roberson and baby Graham coming soon; siblings, Charles Roberson and wife Carolyn of Lane, OK, SL Roberson of Ada, OK, Lillie James and husband Paul of Farris, OK; sisters-in-law, Pat Roberson of Wellington, TX, Evelyn Roberson of Atoka, OK; special daughter in law, Kerrie Roberson Parker of Atoka, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Ruth Delene (Sheffield) Roberson; brothers, Leroy Roberson, Carl Roberson, Chester Roberson, Junior Roberson, Leon Roberson, Zelbert Roberson; sister, Dorothy Cole; brother-in-law, Merl Cole; sister-in-law, Shirley Roberson.
