Billie Frances (Parmley) Alford, age 88, a resident of Atoka, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at her home in Atoka. She was 88 years, 2 months, and 15 days old.

Billie was born on Monday, June 13, 1938, in Bennington, Oklahoma, to Robert Buster and Virginia (Hartsell) Parmley. She attended Bennington High School.

Billie was a dairy farmer and seamstress. She married James Donald Thompson on Friday, February 6, 1959, in Atoka, Oklahoma.

Billie was a member of Sheppard's Chapel and the Dairy Goat Association. She enjoyed goat shows, tending cattle, reading all kinds of books, gardening, sewing, and quilting.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kenyon and husband Donnie of Atoka, Oklahoma; daughter, Donna Allen of Atoka, Oklahoma; son, James Anthony Thompson and wife Sandy of Atoka, Oklahoma; daughter, Ronda Loudermilk and husband Mike of Wapanucka, Oklahoma; daughter, Tracy Thompson of McAlester, Oklahoma; son, Maurice Thompson and significant other Stephanie Lucas of Stringtown, Oklahoma; and son, Zane Thompson and wife Josette of Reklaw, Texas. Billie was blessed to be a five-generation grandmother ten times over. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and 11 great-great-grandchildren with one more on the way; sister, Mildred Parmley of Antlers, Oklahoma; and daughter-in-law, Diana Durant of Stringtown, Oklahoma.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Thompson; her parents, Robert Buster and Virginia (Hartsell) Parmley; sons, Billy Frank Durant, Alan Lee Durant, and Stacey Ray Thompson; grandson, Stetson Shawn Thompson; granddaughter, Misty Ann Durant Farmer; great-granddaughter, Daleyza Keene; brother, Robert Edward Parmley; sisters, Juanita Darby and Betty Lou Binge; and brother, Harold Simon.

Casketbearers will be Russell James, Sammy James, Chris Saunders, Terry Jon Northrip, Will Ford, and Blaine Thompson.

Honorary casketbearers will be Blake James, Shawn James, Blaze James, Stormy Thompson, Dalton Settlemire, William Graves, Jesse Kenyon, Steven Kenyon, Tyson Woodmore, Justin Loudermilk, Eric Loudermilk, and Seth Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka, Oklahoma, with Sam Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Darwin Cemetery.

Family night will be held Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
