NAME: Billy Charles Harris, age 83, a Blackjack, OK resident.

BORN: He was born on Friday, October 27, 1933, to Elmer Grady and Rosa Doll (Nanney) Harris, at Hickory Hill in Atoka County, OK.

PASSED AWAY: Billy passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Sherman, TX.

AGE: 83 years, 2 months and 29 days.

EDUCATION: He graduated from Savanna High School in 1952.

OCCUPATION: Billy operated service stations most of his working life.

MARRIED: He married Lorece McPhetridge on July 12, 1952 at McAlester, OK, she preceded him in death on August 6, 1976. Billy later married Mildred (Johnson) Stevens at Sherman, TX in July 1977, she preceded him in death on December 29, 1996.

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Billy enjoyed working with horses, and was a past president of the Atoka Trail Riders. In his later years he enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and the Texas Rangers baseball team on tv. Billy loved live country music and when he was able, he could be found at Mary's Music Barn at Jesse or other live country music performances in the area.

STEP-SON: Michael Justice of Mead, OK

STEP-DAUGHTER: Tammy Clayton of Houston, TX

GRANDSONS: Ezra Harris of Ft. Benning, GA

Dustin Campbell of Pilot Point, TX

GRANDDAUGHTERS: Lorece Harris of Austin, TX

Jade Clayton of Houston, TX

Along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
