PASSED AWAY: Bill passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his residence in Lane, OK. AGE: 84 years, 1 month and 7 days. EDUCATION: He attended Crystal grade school and graduated from Atoka High School in 1949. He was a self taught gunsmith. OCCUPATION: Bill worked in a hardware store in Ruidosa, N.M. after his service. He owned and operated Coben Grocery over 46 years in Lane. He was also a carpenter and gunsmith. MILITARY: Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He was stationed in San Diego, Phillipines, and Japan. MARRIED: He married Deloris Faulkenberry at Atoka, in 1958, she preceded him in death in 1989. He later married Joyce Wilson (Cooksey) in 1991 at Atoka, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Bill was a member of Lane Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting (hunted over 30 years in Colorado), fishing, was a gunsmith and bought and sold guns and knives.
