Bobby Joe Mason, age 67, an Atoka, OK resident, He was born on Monday, April 15, 1946, to Joe and Ollie (Shaw) Mason, at Atoka, OK. Bobby passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Atoka, OK. He attended school in Norwalk, CA. Bobby was a truck driver for Exxon-Mobil for many years. He was also the owner/operator of Mason Transportation. Bobby married Cindy (Griffis) in 1966, in California. She preceded him in death in 2000. He married Christie (Makela) on January 1, 2011. Bobby was a movie buff, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, taking pictures, and going fishing. Bobby is survived by his wife, Christie Mason of Atoka, OK.; children, Richard Mason and fiance Jennifer of Lehigh, OK., Steven Mason and wife Kim of Rexburg, ID., Tammie Mason of Oklahoma, Nicole Schuman of Midwest City, OK.; grandchildren, Amanda, Cody, Gavin, and Abby Mason, Chad, Derrick, Bryan, Heather, and Lauren Mason; siblings, Rita Malmskog and husband Gene of Stringtown, OK., Doris Mason of St. Louis, MO.; aunt, Opal Seabourn of Bakersfield, CA.; uncle, Vernon and wife Juanita Shaw of Atoka, OK.;along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
