Bobby Joe Courtney, age 76, a life long Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, August 13, 1944, to Eugene Seidle and Margaret (Silvers) Courtney, at Atoka, OK. Bobby Joe passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Atoka High School in 1962. Bobby Joe was a self employed carpenter. Bobby Joe proudly served his country in The National Guard. Bobby Joe loved cars, being an uber driver for Boomer's Bar and hanging out at Harry's Barber Shop.

Bobby Joe is survived by his children, Melissa Courtney of Atoka, OK, Billy Joe Courtney and wife Francie of Atoka, OK, Jamie Rowell of Norman, OK and adopted daughter, Wendy Cops of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Alex Courtney of Atoka, OK, Abby Courtney of Atoka, OK, Colten Courtney and wife Stormi of Atoka, OK, Shancie Courtney of Atoka, OK, Haley Cops of Lane, OK; great grandchildren, Adrian Courtney, Trigger Courtney, Konnar Courtney, Haskell Joe Courtney; sister, Margadell Taylor of Atoka, OK; sister-in-law, Joy Courtney of Wichita, KS; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Bobby Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Seidle and Margaret (Silvers) Courtney; siblings, Kenneth Courtney, Windell Courtney and wife Barbara, Russell Courtney and wife Nina; brother-in-law, JB Taylor******************************************************************************
