Bobby Dean Johnson, age 64, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, November 13, 1955, to Esias "E.J." James and Alice Marie (Leflore) Johnson, at Lane, OK.
Bobby passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Plano, TX. He attended Lane Elemetary and graduated from Atoka High School where he played basketball and football.
Bobby was a high liner his entire life. He married Sara Mae (Barcus) on Thursday, November 23rd, 1995 at Krebs, OK. They enjoyed 24 years of marriage. Bobby was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Choctaw Nation, enjoyed mowing and yardwork, loved his kids, grandkids and great grandkids, making someone smile, football and basketball.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Sara Mae Johnson of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Tina Leflore and husband Stacey of Hartshorne, OK, David Sublette of Atoka, OK, Shawn "Moon" Sublette of Atoka, OK, Alicia Butler of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Klanyca, Ashton, Shyanne, Bobby, Blaine, Garrett, Chance, Alexis, and Josiah; great grandchildren, Brantley, Kourtlyn and Legend; sisters, Anita of Ponca City, OK, Cleta Billy of Atoka, OK, Debbie Williams and husband John of Colbert, OK; brothers, Richard Johnson and wife Pat of Atoka, OK, Richard Cortez of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, E.J. and Marie Johnson; brothers, Alvin, Ed, and Kenneth Johnson, Jerry Leflore; sister, Anna Johnson.
