Bonnie Loualma Staires, age 73, a lifelong Pittsburg County, OK resident. She was born on Thursday, September 13, 1951, to Ivan Euing and Orienna Mae (Reed) Murphree, at McAlester, OK. Bonnie passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at McAlester, OK. She attended Pittsburg Public Schools, then went on to attend a year at Murray State College and one year at Okmulgee Tech Center. Bonnie was a cook  for Pittsburg Public Schools over 30 years and was also a homemaker and housewife. She married Clifford "Toy" Staires at Kiowa, OK on December 22, 1973. They celebrated 44 years of marriage before his passing on August 29, 2018. Bonnie was a member of Assembly of God, Pittsburg and Kiowa. She loved going to church, studying Bibles, watching sports, going to Branson, fishing, shopping, and watching her nephew, Kent, play college basketball.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Sue Staires of Atoka, OK; brother, Ron Murphree and wife Sharon of Burneyville, OK; nephews, Brent Murphree and wife Nicole of Lake Kiowa, TX, Kent Murphree of Rossford, OH, Brock Murphree and wife Kayla of Trenton, TX, Chance Murphree of McKinney, TX; nieces, Karin Pica and husband Joey of Edmond, OK, Lori Kaplan and husband Steven of Goodland, FL; great nieces and nephews, Brooke Murphree of McKinney, TX, Macyn Murphree of Lake Kiowa, TX, Jackson Murphree of Rossford, OH, Reed Murphree of Rossford, OH, Garette Murphree of Rossford, OH, Bella Pica of Edmond, OK, Nic Pica of Edmond, OK, Brayden Barnhouse of Edmond, OK; special uncle and aunt, Brian White and Doree; along with other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Euing and Orienna Mae (Reed) Murphree; husband, Toy Staires.
