Calvin H. Cleveland, age 89, a Atoka OK resident, was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1925, to Grover and Bessie (Ingram) Cleveland, at Caney, OK. Calvin passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Denison, TX. He attended Post Oak grade school and graduated from Caney High School in 1943 then received a Master's Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Calvin was a high school teacher and coach and a middle school principal. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He married BoPeep Juanita (Wells) December 10, 1947 at Caddo, OK., she preceded him on January 7, 2013. Calvin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Atoka. He enjoyed playing dominoes, was an avid basketball fan, and was inducted into the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. Calvin is survived by his daughters, Sandra Lois Cleveland of Atoka, OK., Patricia Ann King of Mead, OK.; son, Harold Wayne Cleveland and wife Theresa of Land O'Lakes, FL.; grandchildren, Shari Ann Condict and husband Scotty of Oklahoma City, OK., Traci Denise King of Durant, OK., Salli Juanita Olson of Ardmore, OK., Dr. Christopher Harold Cleveland of Lakeland, FL, Kendall Beau Cleveland of Lakeland, FL, Shane Crockett Cleveland of Orlando, FL.; great grandchildren, John Ross Thomas of Durant, OK., Paige Nikole Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK., Whitt Brandon Wilson of Ardmore, OK., Boyer Wayne Olson of Ardmore, OK.; twin brother, Alvin Cleveland of Midwest City, OK.;along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends. Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, BoPeep Cleveland; parents, Grover and Bessie (Ingram) Cleveland, siblings,Jewell Hester, David Cleveland, Veda Nuttall Daly, Walton Cleveland, Z.L.
