Calvin Ray Tomlinson, age 82, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Wednesday, April 8, 1942, to Calvin and Vivian (Leuty) Tomlinson, at Middleton, TX. Calvin passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Channelview High School in Channelview, TX. Calvin was a truck driver for Ethan Allen. Calvin proudly served his country in The U.S. M.C. He married Glenda (Bledsoe) on Friday, July 29th, 1983 at Blackjack Baptist Church in Atoka, OK. They celebrated over 41 years of marriage. Calvin enjoyed spending time on the ranch walking outdoors. and his favorite hobby was working. He enjoyed weightlifting, playing party poker and watching basketball, anytime there was a game for his grandchildren he would go. He loved spending time with the grandchildren.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Glenda Tomlinson of the home in Atoka, OK; sons, Robert Richie and wife Jennifer of Atoka, OK, Daniel Richie and wife Jessica of Atoka, OK; daughter, April Tomlinson of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Sarah Thacker and husband Brandon of Silo, OK, Taylor Richie of Atoka, OK, Rebecca Richie of Atoka, OK, Tucker Ray Henry of Atoka, Ok, Gage Richie of Atoka, OK, Meadow Richie of Atoka, OK, Stoni Richie of Atoka, OK, Aspen Richie of Atoka, OK, Easton Richie of Atoka, OK, Copper Richie of Atoka, OK, Bayler Richie of Atoka, OK; great grandchildren, Isabella Thacker, Oliver Thacker, Ember Thacker; sister, Patsy Ann Wagner of San Diego, CA; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Vivian (Leuty) Tomlinson; uncles, aunts, cousins, along with other family members.
