Cameron Michael Gordon, age 33, an Atoka, OK resident for most of his life. He was born on Tuesday, March 7, 1989, to Christopher Dale and Kimberly Carol (Selby) Gordon, in Bend, OR. Cameron passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at his home in Atoka, OK. He attended Tushka Public School and graduated from Stringtown High School in 2008. He then went on to attend SOSU. He served his country in the U.S. Army where he received many awards. Cameron was a carpenter for the family business Baca's Construction. He married Domonique "Nikki" Dalynn (Burnett) on Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at McAlester, OK. Cameron was Baptized with Day Spring Church by Dr. James Crowson and Pastor Darrin Begley. He was a lover and worshiper of God. Cameron was an amazing man who loved camping and hiking with his wife and baby boy, Atlas. He loved bow hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting. He and Atlas collected a lot of rocks. Cameron was an amazing artist, he drew, collected stones to wirewrap beautiful jewelry. He created many pieces of jewelry for his family and friends.  Cameron was a member of Choctaw Nation. He loved his family without end. He never met a stranger and would give his shirt off his back to help a friend. He is our heartbeat and will be missed beyond measure.
Cameron is survived by his wife, Nikki Gordon of McAlester, OK; son, Atlas Dax Gordon of McAlester, OK; mother, Kimberly Baca and husband  Tommy of Atoka, OK; father, Christopher "Flash" Gordon and Momma Mish of Norman, OK; brothers, River Baca of Atoka, OK, Nolen Powell of Atoka, OK; sisters, Keily Gordon of Atoka, OK, Brooke Carpenter and husband Cody of Atoka, OK, Kailey Powell of Norman, OK; grandparents, Carol "Eaw" York of Wards Chapel, OK, Mike Gordon and wife Kathy of Redmond, OR, Linda "Bambi" Morea of Norman, OK; father in law, David Dax Burnett  and partner Rebecca Cole of McAlester, OK; mother in law, Lynn Walters and husband Carl Gream of McAlester, OK; grandmother in law, Linda Burnett "Mamaw" of McAlester, OK; uncle, John Keith Selby and wife Jennifer of Farris, OK; aunts, Tanya Bess and husband Kevin of Atoka, OK, Zoe Cockerelle and husband Tobi of London, England, Ginger Gordon of Norman, OK; along with cousins, great aunts, great uncles, other relatives and many dear friends.
Cameron was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne York; grandmother, Jeanna Capshaw; great grandparents, John and Oneda Selby, Norman Gordon, Billie "Pawpa" Gordon, Eva Mae Cochran, Seth and Thelma Reasor; cousins, Tyler Whitehead, Madelene Bess.
