Cannon Thomas "CT" Hurd, age 80, was a Garfield, AR resident. He was born on Thursday, December 20, 1945, to Thomas Albert "Brownie" and Dorothy Louise (Flowers) Hurd, at Antlers, OK. Cannon passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Garfield, AR.

CT graduated Palo Verde Vallo High School in Blythe, CA, then went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He proudly served in the US Army. CT was a Unit Manager for the Mack Alford Correctional Prison in Stringtown, OK for 36 years before his retirement.

He married Donna Sue Hall on June 23, at 1979 in Farris, OK. Donna precedes him in death on August 10th 2007.

CT was a deacon and lifetime member at Farris First Baptist Church. He loved watching TV westerns. He raised quarter horses and cattle, enjoyed playing poker and would attend the first OU game every year with his family. He loved a good home cooked meal with his family, which he took great pride in. Cannon loved his grandbabies and going to Amber's house to watch The UFC. He never met a stranger and loved to attend his high school reunions in Blythe CA.

CT is survived by his daughters Amber Eddie and husband Jason Eddie of Garfield, AR, Kaynon Hurd and Keith Milner and Gina Hurd; son, Shawn Romines and wife Chelsea of Cibolo Texas; granddaughters Ainsley Eddie of Garfield, Arkansas, Rhiley Stone of Joplin, MO, Gabrilla Frost, Michaela Romines, Julia Romines of San Antonio, TX, Cheyenne Fitzsimon of San Antonio, TX, Faith Fitzsimon of San Antonio, TX, Kaylee Dorow of San Antonio, TX; grandsons Hayden Cook of Gentry, AR, Mykhael Stone of Garfield, AR, Zachary Hurd, Perry Chuculate, Konnor Milner, Donnie Ray Branscum Jr., Colton Branscum, Camden Romines of San Antonio, TX; great grandson Cano of San Antonio, TX; sister Modra Bockmann of Camanche TX; brother in law Rodney Arnold of Boswell, OK; and numerous neices, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.

CT is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Dorothy Louise (Flowers) Hurd; wife Donna Sue Hall; brother Tony Hurd; and sisters Debbie Arnold, and Alma Van Winkle.
