Carl Dean Mitchell, age 70, a Comanche, OK resident, formerly of Atoka, OK. He was born on Tuesday, April 20, 1954, to Lebern and Dora (Cole) Mitchell, at Atoka, OK.  Carl passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Lawton, OK. He attended Atoka High School. Carl was a rig supervisor in the oil field industry. He married Margaret Ann (McCloud). She preceded him in death on February 25, 2016.
Carl was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.
Carl is survived by his daughters, Carla Peterson of Huntley, MT, Christie Mitchell of Rochester, WY; brothers, Bobby Mitchell of Atoka, OK, Buddy Mitchell of Lexington, OK; grandchildren, Zachary Peterson of Huntley, MT, Joseph Mitchell of Rochester, WY, Jonathan Mitchell of Rochester, WY; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Lebern and Dora (Cole) Mitchell; wife, Margaret Mitchell; siblings, Lola Wilson, LeRoy Mitchell, Dorothy Heath, Jerry Mitchell, Billy Mitchell.
