Carl Dean Spears, a long-time Lehigh resident, was born on June 9, 1947, to Joe Harmon Spears and Geraldine Patricia (Trail) Vance, at Merced, CA. He passed away on February 17, 2023 at his home in Lehigh, OK at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 8 days. Carl graduated High School and attended Culinary College. He was a machinist at Blue Bell. Carl married Zelda Kay Breger on November 24, 1995 at Uncle Bob Trail's house in Cottonwood, OK. He was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching TV. He liked being outdoors and camping. Carl's favorite times were spent with his family especially floating down Blue River.
