Obituary Lynn "Cub" Stephen, age 71, and Carolyn E. Stephen, age 64, both longtime Atoka, OK residents. Cub was born on Wednesday, April 28, 1943 to Ellis and Marbell Stephen at West Allison, OK; and Carolyn was born on Wednesday, March 1, 1950 to Pearl Mae Browning at Farris, OK. Cub and Carolyn passed away on Wednesday December 3, 2014. Cub attended West Allison and Tushka High School. Carolyn attended Farris Grade School and Atoka High School. He was a Cement Truck Driver and she was a Home Health Aid, and a cook at the Atoka Truck Stop and Caney Diner. Cub and Carolyn married on September 8, 1967 in Grayson County, TX. They had 47 wonderful years together. Cub enjoyed watching westerns and Sunday football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Carolyn enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren. Cub and Carolyn is survived by their daughter, Laura Stephen of Atoka, OK; son, Randy Stephen and wife Delorie of Nooksack, WA; grandchildren, Courtney Lynn Stephen and Chelsie Stephen of Atoka, OK, Brandon Schouten, Courtney Schouten, Breanna Stephen, and Erika Stephen all of Nooksack, WA; great grandson, Coapen Rylynn Stephen of Atoka, OK. brother of Cub, Dale "Nub" Stephen and wife Shirley of Stringtown, OK; special friends of Carolyn, Edna Arleen Eldridge of Atoka, OK, Sue Horath of Caney, OK.; along with other relatives and many dear friends.
