Cecil Grady Reeves, age 91, a Atoka, OK resident, was born on Sunday, May 7, 1933, to "Judge" and Eula Mae (Mitchell) Reeves, at Caddo, OK. Cecil passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Atoka, OK. He graduated from Caddo High School with the class of 1951. Cecil was a Truck Driver hauling sand and gravel. He proudly served his country in The United States Army. He married Ella Annette Self on Saturday, May 23rd, 1953 at Caddo First Baptist Church. Cecil served in various positions at Black Jack Baptist Church and Caddo First Baptist Church. He enjoyed times with friends at the coffee shop and on the golf course. Cecil loved farming, ranching, bluegrass gospel music, camping, fishing, hunting, and most of all spending time with his wife, kids, and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Annette Reeves of the home in Atoka, OK; daughters, Jeanie Culbreath and husband Phillip of Caney, OK, Rhonda Werner of Caney, OK, Teresa Watson and husband Michael of Caney, OK, Sherri O'Hern and husband Mark of Caney, OK, Kerri King and husband Woody of Caney, OK; along with 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and other dearly loved family and friends.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Judge and Eula (Mitchell) Reeves; son-in-law, Randy Werner; sisters, Wilna Green, Shannon Barnes; brothers, Jake Reeves, Hoyle Reeves, and CM Reeves.
