OBITUARY NAME: Cecil Ray Smith, age 74, an Atoka, OK resident. BORN: He was born on Monday, July 11, 1938, to Francis and Ruthie Ola (Taylor) Smith, at Wilson Community, OK. PASSED AWAY: Cecil passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Denison, TX. AGE: 74 years, 4 months and 16 days. EDUCATION: He attended Wilson and Coleman schools. OCCUPATION: He worked as welder helper for a pipeline construction company, a roughneck in the oil field, and the owner and operator of a concrete construction company in Wichita, TX. He was also a rancher. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Wapanucka. A member of the Atoka Elks Lodge, the American Quarter Horse Association. He loved working with horses, traveling, and attending antique car shows. SURVIVED BY DAUGHTER: Kim Adkins and husband Jess of Covington, LA. GRANDCHILDREN: Brenda Lauren Abadie and Joesph Dumuth of Metairie, LA. Brandon David Adkins of Covington, LA. BROTHERS: Carl Smith of Boggy Depot, OK. Tommy Harold Johnson of Wapanucka, OK. SISTERS: Linda Bilbrey and husband Gary of Tulsa, OK. Patricia Ann Johnson and husband Gregory of Kingston, OK. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
