Obituary

C.H. "Copas" Isom, age 86, a lifetime Daisy, OK area resident that has live the past 6 years in  Hartshorne, OK was born on Tuesday, March 7, 1933, to Charlie and Anginora (Billy) Isom, at Daisy, OK. C.H. passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Talhina, OK. He attended Goss School. He married Lillian Nadine (Fite) on July 6th, 1955 at McAlester, OK. C.H. worked for the  Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for 22 years as a maintenance worker, heavy equipment operator and truck driver. C.H was also a rancher, Fire Chief for Daisy Fire Department. He was instrumental in getting the first new fire truck and the fire station/ community center built in Daisy. C.H. was a avid hunter and fisherman. One of his greatest accomplishments was when he gave his life to the Lord on January 2017 and was baptized in the Canadian River, north of McAlester, but the highlight of his life was when his great grandson Jayden Preston Baker was born.
C.H. is survived by his wife, Nadine Isom of the home; daughter, Debra Ludlow and husband Rick of Daisy, OK; granddaughter, Nakita Baker and husband Jason of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Erik Ludlow of Daisy, OK; great grandson, Jayden Baker of San Antonio, TX; sister, Alice Hutson of Daisy, OK; sister-in-law, Noreene Isom of Daisy, OK; foster daughter, Linda Burelson of McAlester, OK; special great nieces, Jamie Horstman and husband Scott of Hartshorne, OK; Charlotte Kindred of Daisy, OK
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews , great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many and dear friends.

C.H. is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Anginora (Billy) Isom; brothers, Frank Page, Clarence "Bob" Page, Adolphus "Dugan" Isom and Monroe "Jay" Isom; sisters, Opal Burelson, Audrey Burelson and Virginia Stout; grandfather,Indian Territory Judge Isaac Billy; grandmother, Emily Meshia Billy; grandfather & grandmother Isom,; several nieces, nephews, other relatives.
