Charlene (Gerullis) Work, age 80, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Thursday, August 7, 1941, to Charles Wilhelm and Wilma Louise (Drake) Gerullis, at Detroit, MI.
Charlene passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Atoka, OK. She graduated from Lincoln Park High School in Detroit, MI. Charlene worked many years as a secretary.
She married Jack Work, he preceded her in death.
Charlene was a Christian. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to read, watch tv on loud, found humor in everything and loved to eat Lay's Potato Chips.
Charlene is survived by her children, Louise Duke and husband Shadrack of Farris, OK, James Adair of Farris, OK, Jason Adair of Afton, OK, Deidra Potts and husband Jeffrey of Tushka, OK; grandchildren, Vanessa Marie Fogleman, Scott Charles Duke, Kerie Ann Adair, Karissa Renee Adair, Patrick James Adair, Keira Nicole Potts; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen Lesnet, Rose Delezenne; along with nieces nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wilhelm and Wilma Louise (Drake) Gerullis; husband, Jack Work.
