Charles Ray Crone, age 65, a lifelong Atoka, OK resident. He was born on Sunday, July 31, 1960, to James Daniel Crone and Mary Lou (Buffington) Ray, at McAlester. Charles passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Atoka, OK.  He graduated from Savannah High School. Charles was a Handy Man; he also worked in the oilfield for several years as well as Walmart.  He married Rosa Lee Herandy on Friday, February 4th, 1983 at North Town Church of Christ in McAlester, OK. Charles enjoyed watching football, and wrestling. He enjoyed going fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. He loved dancing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Charles was survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Herandy of the home; son, James Crone of Tushka, Ok; daughter, Mary Crone of Tushka, Ok; granddaughters, Kenzie Crone of Tushka, OK, Danielle Brown of Tushka, Ok, Norah Crone of Coalgate; grandson, James Ray Crone Jr. of Coalgate, OK.; brother, Ronald Crone and wife Pam of Kiowa, OK; aunt, Joyce and Jim Henery  of McAlester, OK.; uncle, Jerry Cole of Alderson, OK; brother-in-law, Jonathan Herandy of McAlester, OK.; sister-in-law, Lisa Herandy of McAlester, OK, Teresa Herandy of McAlester, OK, Tawana Ogle of Prague, Ok; special nieces, Mary, Mona, and Tara; many nephews; special friends/cousins, Eddie and Brandi Mullins; Along with countless other loved ones, and many dear friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, James Daniel Crone and Mary Lou (Buffington) Ray; sisters, Donna Snowden, Sandy Crone, Sheila Crone; brother, Danny Crone; stepmother, Virginia Crone; stepbrother, Charlie Coons; stepsister, Rhonda Dean; stepdad, LT Ray; uncle, Ricky Crone. Along with numerous other aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, and loved ones.
