OBITUARY NAME: Charles Wayne Pruett, age 61, a lifelong Caney, OK resident. BORN: He was born on Thursday, November 13, 1952, to Wayne and Barbara (Mears) Pruett, at Caney, OK. PASSED AWAY: Charles passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Oklahoma City, OK. AGE: 61 years, 11 months and 13 days. EDUCATION: He attended school at Caney where he graduated in 1971. OCCUPATION: Charles was a Heavy Equipment Operator MARRIED: He married Marti (Holstine) in 2008 at Caney, OK. CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Charles was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed coon hunting, (he raised coon dogs), quail hunting, deer hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. Charles enjoyed collecting arrowheads, coins, baseball cards, and spending time with nieces and nephews. SURVIVED BY WIFE: Marti Holstine Pruett of the home in Caney, OK. DAUGHTERS: Jessica Jaynes and husband Jayson of Soper, OK Kaitlyn Workman of Atoka, OK SISTERS: Janice Cole of Caney, OK Tamara Smith of Caney, OK GRANDSON: Turner Jaynes of Soper, OK NIECES: Crystal Kilpatrick of Caney, OK Amy Kilpatrick of Caney, OK Shaelyn Smith of Caney, OK NEPHEW: Tyler Smith of Caney, OK GREAT NEPHEWS: Braxton Castleberry of Caney, OK Gavyn Castleberry of Caney, OK Keetyn Greenwood of Caney, OK Drae Kilpatrick of Caney, OK along with other relatives and many dear friends.
