Charlie Ray Wilson, age 74, raised in Atoka, OK, lived in Oregon several years and then moved back to Atoka, OK, was born on Wednesday, December 25, 1946, to Paul and Ollie Lee (Stiles) Wilson, at Lane, OK. Charlie passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in Pittsburg County, OK. He attended Lane Public School and graduated Atoka High School. Charlie was a carpenter and brick layer and 100% disabled veteran.
Charlie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Donna Bolic in 1965 at Atoka, OK. She preceded him in death.
Charlie attended Tushka Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino, camping, photography and loved visiting with the family.
Charlie is survived by his children, Robbie Wilson of Oregon, Laura Gruey of Oregon, Nancy McClain of Oregon, Phillip Wilson of Oregon, Evan Wilson of Oregon; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren on the way; siblings, Bobby Wilson and wife Brenda of Lane, OK, Norma McDougal and husband Dood of Lane, OK; mother in law, Sue Bolic of Atoka, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ollie Lee (Stiles) Wilson; wife, Donna Wilson; sons, Paul Ray Wilson, Edward Wilson; brother, Don Wilson; sister, Freda Hawkins.
