Charlotte Louise Williams, age 78, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Sunday, September 2, 1945, to Bud and Lorene (Purdue) Vaughn, at French Camp, CA. Charlotte passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her home in Atoka, OK surrounded by her loved ones. She attended Franklin High School in Stockton, CA. Charlotte worked in security for Freemont Middle School. She married Gary Williams on Monday, April 30th, 1962, at Stockton, CA. They celebrated almost 56 years of marriage before his passing on December 14, 2018. Charlotte attended Wapanucka Church of God. She enjoyed watching tv, playing card games, listening to Elvis, (she was a big Elvis fan). In 2017, she and Gary enjoyed going to Graceland and checking it off her bucket list.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Kimberly McFeeters and husband Ricky of Atoka, OK, Christine Castillo of Stockton, CA; sons, Gary Williams Jr. of Stockton, CA, Scotty Williams of Atoka, OK; along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings,     Robert Vaughn and wife Janice of Stockton, CA, Judy Randolph of Spokane, WA, Sharon Morrison of Spokane, WA, Connie Vaughn of Washington; along with numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives and many dear friends.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Lorene (Purdue) Vaughn; husband, Gary Williams; siblings, Bill Vaughn, Peggy Wallen, Jack Vaughn, Wayne Vaughn.
