Cheryl Kay (Settlemire) Begley, age 70, a longtime Atoka, OK resident. She was born on Friday, May 14, 1954, to Sam and Mary Edna (Cornwell) Settlemire, at Toledo, OR. Cheryl passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Durant, OK. She graduated from Atoka High School. Cheryl was a sales associate for medical equipment, a cashier, and housewife and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

Cheryl is survived by her son, Chad Holland and wife Jodi of Oak Ridge, TN; grandchildren, Michelle Holland of Oak Ridge, TN, Megan Holland of Oak Ridge, TN; great grandchild, Jaclyn Webber of Oak Ridge, TN; sisters, Marilyn Salazar of Atoka, OK, Ann Crites and husband Joe of Caney, OK; nieces and nephews, Misty Henson of Atoka, OK, Crystal Salazar-Bailey and husband Junior of Atoka, OK, Stetson Salazar and wife Kate of Lane, OK, Cody Salazar and wife Holly of Atoka, OK, April Allen of Atoka, OK, David Brown and wife Doris of Atoka, OK, Patty Schweitzer and husband Mike of Lemmon, SD, Christie Seabourn and husband Lee Wayne of Atoka, OK, Danial Brown and wife Nina of Atoka, OK; along with great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Edna (Cornwell) Settlemire; siblings, Carolyn Settlemire, Sammy Dale Settlemire, Brenda Baker, Linda Wilburn.
